2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Email address: Only if you create a Pro account via OAuth sign-in (optional)
• Contact form submissions: Name, email, and message (sent via email only, not stored in our database)
• Feedback: Optional feedback you submit within the ChatGPT interface

2.2 Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled entirely by a third-party payment processor. We receive and store only:

• A customer identifier (not your card details)
• Subscription status and plan type
• Subscription period dates

We do NOT receive or store your credit card number, CVV, or complete billing address.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

• User Identifiers: A randomly generated UUID assigned to your account, auto-generated API tokens, and for anonymous ChatGPT users, a temporary ephemeral ID that rotates every 24 hours
• Usage Data: YouTube video IDs you request captions for, features used, request timestamps, success or failure status
• Technical Data: Error reports (with user IDs truncated for privacy), performance metrics

2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

• IP addresses (not logged by our application)
• Device fingerprints
• Location data
• Browsing history outside our Service
• Video content or full captions (processed in memory, not stored)
• Third-party tracking cookies
• Advertising identifiers

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use a minimal number of cookies, all essential for Service operation:

• Authentication Cookies: Maintain your login session if you have a Pro account
• Security Cookies: Protect against bot abuse (CAPTCHA verification)

We do NOT use advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking.

When you use the Service through ChatGPT, your conversations are governed by OpenAI's privacy policy. We only receive the specific requests made to our API and do not have access to your full ChatGPT conversation history.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sunrise Digital Labs Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of this Privacy Policy, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. For significant changes affecting user rights, we will provide prominent notice on the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us. This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the jurisdiction of these courts.

If you are an EU resident, nothing in this section affects your right to bring legal proceedings in your country of residence.
